A story behind the name

Create a page for yourself or in memory of someone special. Your free QR code opens their photograph and short biography, helping people discover the story behind the name. This standalone service can be used without completing funeral wishes or any of our other forms.

How it works

1. Enter their name and nickname, upload a photograph and write a biography of up to 100 words.
2. Publish the page to create your QR code.
3. Download your QR code free whenever you need it, or print it yourself. Anyone who scans it can read the story.

Creating your page and downloading your QR code are free. Return to your account anytime to update the page or download another copy. You can also print the code yourself for free.

Optional printed QR tags and magnets — £19.99 each

We offer your QR code printed onto a metallic tag or magnet for attachment to an existing memorial or memorial bench. The price includes free postage and fitting instructions. Buying a printed tag or magnet is optional; your QR download stays free.

Your published story is accessible to anyone with its link or QR code, so only include information you are happy to share. Personal story pages are excluded from search indexing.
